A training course developed specifically for Body Corporate Trustees:

 

 

The course is designed to teach a trustee to cope with the threats and duties involved with being a trustee. This course is mainly geared towards an understanding of the fiduciary duties of a trustee and the scope of accountability in terms of that duty.

 

The course leader, Michael Opperman, is a trustee on 2 major trusts with more than 20 years of experience in this field. While no accreditation is given with this course as it does not qualify a trustee; the training will equip an individual with knowledge as to what to do to become a trustee and what is expected to operate as a trustee of good standing.

 

Most people who have done this course have a clearer understanding of their duties and liabilities and who to hold accountable for the tasks of the governing body and why.
